According to the technical standard requirements of the industry, the product is made by extrusion. Because silicone rubber is a new polymer elastic material, it has suitable high temperature and low-temperature resistance, good physiological stability, and can withstand repeated harsh and disinfection conditions.

Ⅰ. Why can't the silicone tube be used as the silicone tubing for peristaltic pump?

Both the silicone tube and the silicone tubing for the peristaltic pump are food-grade hoses. They are made of silicone rubber. But why some silicone tubes can be used as peristaltic pump tubes, but some can't?

First of all, the silicone tube is made of food-grade silicone material. It can become a food-grade silicone tube if it meets or reaches the food certification. However, the silicone tube for peristaltic pump is different. The peristaltic pump silicone tube is made of high-purity wear-resistant silicone material, platinum vulcanized Extrusion molding, high transparency, and flexibility, which can ensure the rebound of repeated extrusion, the rebound rate of more than 96%. Although some food-grade silicone tubes can also have a certain degree of resilience, they are certainly not as good as the raw materials dedicated to peristaltic pump silicone tubes.

Secondly, in addition to the strict requirements for raw materials, food-grade silicone tubing, and silicone tubing for peristaltic pump, it also has strict requirements on the specifications and dimensions of the hose itself. Due to the working principle of the peristaltic pump silicone tube, the size requirements for the inner diameter and wall thickness are very accurate. Otherwise, it will affect the flow rate of the silicone tubing for peristaltic pump when transporting materials, thereby affecting the overall production. The peristaltic pump silicone tube also needs to have good wear resistance. The peristaltic pump silicone tube must continue to operate for dozens of hours in a continuous working environment without being damaged. Therefore, the silicone tube does not have such characteristics.
